Catoosa is a city that is located in The United State of America. The name of the city was derived from the Cherokee language. The town grew from a population of 241 in 1900 to a population of 410 by 1910. The population has increased over the years. As of the 2010 census, the population of Catoosa had increased to 7,159 as against the 5,499 at the 2000 census. Thereby, resulting in a 31.2 percent increase over the decade. Despite the challenges it faced on the evening of April 24, 1993,( the town was struck by an F4 tornado) the city remains one of the most peaceful cities in Oklahoma and the United State at large.
