On June 26th, 2018, Oklahoma passed State Question 788 legalized medical marijuana. With a mandatory registration and no discerning list of qualifying conditions, Oklahoma has the least restrictive program nationwide. Application requires:
- Must be 18 years old.
- Minors must obtain signatures from two physicians and a legal guardian.
- Pay $100 for the license.
Signatures must be from a board-certified physician. Out-of-state patients may pay $100 for a 30-day temporary license.
If you have a card, then you can hold up to three ounces of cannabis on your person. Further, you can possess eight ounces of cannabis and 72 ounces of edibles stored at your home. You can even grow six mature cannabis plants, six seedlings, and one ounce of concentrated cannabis. Just don’t forget about the 7% sales tax.
